Our Food
Here at ShokuFan we focus on casual western dishes mixed with Japanese and Chinese flavours. We try our best to cater to guests dietary restrictions as best as we can.
We prepare everything from home and assemble at the client's space.
The Humble Beginnings
When I was a young boy the smell of food would often prevent me from sleeping. I walked down the stairs into the kitchen, and there my grandpa would be fixing himself a bowl of noodles to feed the late night cravings. He saw my head peeking out from the corner of the door frame and asked me if I would like a few bites before bed. Me, the curious boy that I was, immediately replied with "Of course!" While at the dinner table, we would talk about what happened during the day. No wild adventure stories, just a normal day type of conversation. Something so simple that I am relaxed by just thinking about it.

If my passion for food wasn't just ignited by late night munching, but the early Sunday mornings when my mother was preparing lunch. The aroma of shallots and garlic frying in rendered pork fat would fill my childhood home and wake me up much earlier than any alarm. I would be drawn to it and in a trance like state I would walk down from my bedroom to ask if I could help with anything. My mother would often task me with stirring the pot and the best part of that was when she was busy chopping away, I would steal a few bites.

This is the reason I decided to pursue cooking and start this business. Here at Shokufan we invite you to take a seat at the dinner table and let us help you tell your story and relax.
